Locations to Serve You
OneRestore offers expert, high quality Gainesville water damage restoration services for residential and commercial locations. This includes safe and effective flood water removal as well as water damage cleanup and repair.
Whether due to a plumbing burst, leak, or water from a flood or natural disaster, damages caused by water demand prompt, proper and expert attention. Left untreated, the damage caused by flooding can quickly result in the presence of mold and odor, and compromise the structural strength of a property.
Unless your property is properly cleaned and treated after you have experienced significant water damage, you run the risk of mold and mildew spores in your home’s walls, floors and other areas. This can not only cause significant structural problems for your home, but also put you and your family’s health at risk.
Once mold has begun to grow inside moist and water-damaged areas, you will likely start to smell and see it. The evidence can be as clear as black coloration on your baseboards, floors, walls and other surfaces, or it can be hidden behind your walls where it is not easily seen. Unless you have this mold properly removed, your home is not safe.
OneRestore provides our customers with the most highly skilled water damage restoration services in the area, concentrating on extracting water from your home and mitigating mold and mildew buildup.
We don’t just come in with large vacuum cleaners or driers. On the contrary, OneRestore follows a rigid and thorough set of applications for all of our mold and water damage mitigation services.
Extracting, Dehumidifying Moisture & More.
The Process:

- Drying: monitoring
We will come to your home or place of business to fully assess your situation and offer you a free inspection for water damage restoration services. We want you to be confident in knowing our team is ready to help you recover from damages caused by water, helping you to adhere to insurance requirements and deadlines along the way. OneRestore can typically get you and your home or business back to normal without undergoing any significant reconstruction.

Water Damage Involving Sewage or Other Contaminants
Sometimes water damage is the result of sewage backup, or is contaminated because the flood water has come into contact with sewage or other contaminant. This type situation should be treated as an emergency and should only be handled by professionals. OneRestore's emergency technicians are available 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. We are water damage specialists who also have received specialized training, protective gear, and equipment to safely restore your home or business from sewage water contamination.
Safe Cleanup For Every Type of Sewage Backup or Spill
If you don't know if sewage is involved, it is always best to avoid the water damaged area and contact OneRestore. Water damage resulting from a sewer or septic system backup is very dangerous, especially if the contaminated water is inside your property. This type of water contains bacteria and fungi that can cause serious illness and therefore can be very dangerous to attempt to clean yourself. Special sewage removal and cleanup techniques are necessary to return your home or business to a safe, functional place to work or live. Contaminated water damage can happen at any time. That's why OneRestore’s Flood Water Cleanup Team provides 24 hour service 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

There are 3 Types of Contaminated Water:
Water damage in general is classified into three contaminated water categories. When called for an inpection, OneRestore’s professionals will establish an appropriate plan of action based upon the level of contamination and the situation encountered.
Category 1 – Clean Water
Category 1 water is from a clean source, like a broken water supply line, broken pipe, or leaking faucet. This type of leak or flood must still be treated quickly and correctly as it can easily progress to a category 2 or 3, depending upon air temperature, contact with contaminants, and time. The development of dangerous mold is also a concern the longer you wait before treating the water damaged area.
Category 2 – Gray Water
Exposure to Category 2 water can cause sickness because it already contains contaminants. Some examples of Category 2 water damage are dishwasher overflow, washing machine overflow, or toilet overflow with urine but no feces. The water most likely already contains viruses and bacteria, and if not treated immediately will progress rather quickly to a Category 3 contamination.
Category 3 – Black Water
By definition, Category 3 water is grossly contaminated and serious illness or death can occur with excessive exposure. ALL contact with affected areas should be strictly avoided. Category 3 contamination can be the result of sewer or septic backups, untreated standing water that has developed microbial growth, flooding from rivers or streams, or overflow of a toilet bowl with feces. Category 3 water may contain untreated sewage, microbes or harsh chemicals.

Our professionals have been carefully trained to remove sewage, mud and every kind of category 3 water. Our team of professionals will remove and safely dispose of all materials that potentially absorbed any contaminated water. This may include carpeting, furniture, and even bedding. You can usually include these items in your claim with your insurance company.
Once all sewage and contaminated water has been removed, air movers are brought in to circulate the damp air. Commercial-sized dehumidifiers are set up to remove any extra moisture from the air to prevent any future mold growth.
Nonporous items like tile and hardwood floors can often be cleaned and disinfected. At OneRestore, we use eco-friendly or green biocides to sanitize the contaminated area completely and safely. We may also need to employ disinfectants to be sure the affected area is once again safe and livable.
